Lakshmi Tharun Ponnam is a highly motivated Senior Software Engineer with over 6 years of experience in the industry. She completed her Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Velagapudi Ramakrishna Siddhartha Engineering College in 2016 and has been working towards broadening her career path ever since. Lakshmi is an ambitious individual who is always open to new challenges and willing to work hard to achieve her goals. She is an excellent team player who enjoys contributing new ideas to the team. Her technical expertise includes software engineering and research science, which makes her a valuable asset to any team. Currently working as a Software Engineer at Pegasystems, Lakshmi has also worked as a Member Technical at ADP and as a Research Intern at NIT Rourkela. During her internship at NIT Rourkela, she worked on Recommender Systems, where she implemented a Movie Recommender System that is both User-based and Item-based. She also created an interface to display results for the current active user. Her work was guided by Prof. Dr. Bidyut Kumar Patra. Apart from her professional achievements, Lakshmi enjoys reading books and playing games in her free time. She completed her Intermediate education in Junior High/Intermediate/Middle School Education and Teaching from Sri Chaitanya College of Education in 2012 and her High School education in High School/Secondary Certificate Programs from S.F.S English Medium School in 2010.
